Hiring Process for Support Staff

Anyone seeking employment as a clerk, receptionist, legal secretary, paralegal, interviewer, investigator or disposition specialist in our office can apply by:

  • mailing a resume and completed State of Florida employment application, which can be downloaded from the website at www.pdmiami.com. Please send to the attention of Human Resources at the address below.
  • e-mailing resume to jobs@pdmiami.com. (Please attach resumes to the e-mail message, and only send documents saved as Microsoft Word or WordPerfect formats.) No telephone inquires please.

Prospective candidates who successfully complete a preliminary screening interview may be offered an opportunity to return for a panel interview. The panel will recommend the best candidate for the position. The office verifies the candidate’s references and conducts a background check with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
